Abc Tofu House

Overview

If you're in the Reseda area and looking for a cozy spot to enjoy authentic, flavorful dishes, Abc Tofu House should be at the top of your list. Nestled in the heart of the neighborhood at 18044 Saticoy St, Reseda, CA 91335, United States, this charming diner has earned its reputation for offering a fantastic menu that highlights the best of tofu-based dishes, alongside other delightful options.

One of the standout features of Abc Tofu House is the extensive selection of tofu dishes. Whether you're a fan of soft, silky tofu or the crispy fried variety, the restaurant excels in creating both traditional and innovative options. I recently visited and had the chance to try their signature tofu soup. The broth was rich and flavorful, brimming with aromatic spices that provided the perfect balance to the soft tofu. The dish was accompanied by an array of pickled vegetables and steamed rice, rounding out the meal perfectly.

Not only does Abc Tofu House offer a great selection of vegetarian and vegan-friendly options, but they also cater to those with more carnivorous tastes. The menu includes a variety of grilled meats, stir-fries, and hearty rice dishes. One standout was their sizzling stone bowl rice, served with a choice of protein. Itโ€™s a fun, interactive dish that allows you to experience a mix of textures as you stir the crispy rice at the bottom of the bowl.

The atmosphere in Abc Tofu House is another reason why itโ€™s a popular spot for both locals and visitors alike. The staff is friendly and attentive, always ready to make recommendations or customize a dish to fit your preferences. On my visit, the restaurant had a warm, inviting vibe, perfect for a casual dining experience with family or friends.

While the tofu dishes steal the show, Abc Tofu House is also known for its refreshing beverages. Their house-made iced teas are a great choice to complement the meal, especially if you're looking for something light and refreshing to balance out the spiciness of the food. If youโ€™re in the mood for something sweeter, their traditional desserts, like shaved ice or sweet rice cakes, provide the perfect ending to the meal.

One of the things that stands out about Abc Tofu House is its consistent quality. Each visit brings the same level of care and attention to detail. The kitchen uses fresh, high-quality ingredients to create dishes that satisfy and surprise, with each bite offering something new to enjoy. Itโ€™s clear that the team behind the scenes takes great pride in their work.

In addition to the food, Abc Tofu House has built a loyal following thanks to its reasonable pricing and the welcoming atmosphere. It's a great place for a quick, satisfying lunch or a leisurely dinner. Whether youโ€™re stopping by for a quick bite or gathering with a group, the restaurant offers a variety of seating options to accommodate different needs.

For those interested in exploring other menu items, Abc Tofu House also offers Korean-inspired BBQ and stir-fried dishes, which are just as delicious as their tofu creations. I particularly enjoyed the spicy stir-fried pork, which had just the right amount of heat and tender texture.

If you havenโ€™t had the chance to check out Abc Tofu House yet, itโ€™s definitely worth a visit. Whether youโ€™re a fan of tofu or just love good food, this restaurantโ€™s diverse menu and cozy atmosphere make it a standout in the area. The next time you find yourself in Reseda, stop by and treat yourself to a meal that will leave you feeling satisfied and eager to return.

I remember having fond memories the old tofu house here years ago. I decided to give this one a try and it was fantastic. The flavor was great and I felt like you got great value for your money.

Have come here several time already and I am never disappointed! The servers are all very nice and accommodating. Ordered the Soon Tofu with beef and some Galbi spare ribs. Everything came out delicious and they are very generous with the sides. They also brought my tea in this cute purple mug! Absolutely recommend!

Visited during a quiet Wednesday afternoon & was pleasantly surprised by how fresh and delicious all of my order was. I canโ€™t wait to bring my family and friends & will definitely be back.

A little expensive, but the food is damn good. The galbi is fantastic, and I'm a big fan that a combo just comes with the tofu soup. The egg was a very nice touch to add in as well. The mixed dumplings were okay. I'd probably try a different dumpling though next time. Pros: Great food. Neutral: Decor is not very aesthetic nor charming, and you know what, that's okay. Cons: A little pricey.

This is an authentic Korean bibimbap restaurant, and it's our first time trying it. The owner, a Korean auntie, was very patient in teaching me how to add chili paste, sesame oil, and a little soy sauce to the hot stone bowl bibimbap. The taste was really great, and it's definitely worth visiting again.

One of my favorite go toโ€™s for Korean food in the valley, the service has always been superb at this location having the same service when it used to be BCD tofu house. I opted for the kimchi tofu soup with adds loads of flavors and I love the Ban Chan (Korean side dishes) that are completely free to refill.

Very quick and very friendly. Bit complicated seating arrangements but they will accommodate nicely. Food was amazing and hot. Many different levels of spice. Only be warned you will spend about 25$ per person.
